Sealed Quotations are hereby invited from acceptable Insurance Institutions for the Insurance of under mentioned properties and personnel of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority for the year 2008 / 2009 commencing 01" August 2008 to 31st July 2009
2) Document containing particulars of all Vehicle Fleets with requirements, details pertaining to other properties and items could be obtained by the interested Insurance Institutions on payment of a non - refundable fee of Rs. 300/- from the office premises of the Deputy Chief Internal Auditor of the SLPA at No. 11, Sea Beach Rd, Colombo 11, during office hours on 1st of July 2008. [Only one set of document will be issued (Authorized Persons) to an Institution]
3. Quotations marked "Quotations for Insurance Services of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority 2008 / 2009" on top left hand corner of the envelop and addressed to The Chief Executive Officer, Sri Lanka Port Management & Consultancy Services Ltd. No. 19, Church St. Colombo 1, should be deposited in the Tender Box provided for the purpose at the office premises of the Deputy Chief Internal Auditor, Sri Lanka Ports Authority at No. 11, Sea Beach Rd, Colombo 11, on or before 13.30 hrs. on 11th July 2008.
4. All offers should be separately quoted under each group as mentioned at A to C above.
Quotations will be opened on the same day on 14.00 hrs. at the Vice Chairman's Office, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, No. 19, Church St. Colombo 1, Port of Colombo.
Authorized representatives of Insurance Institutions are requested to be present at the time of opening of quotations.
Sri Lanka Port Management & Consultancy Services Limited as the Agent handling Insurances of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority has the exclusive rights to accept / reject offers which are not conforming to the requirements of the Sri Lanka Ports Authority, without giving any explanations.
Accepted rates of successful bidders should apply to all additional Insurance to be effected during the year under such policies.
