INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors/contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Location : WTP, Brgy. Talanghauan, Sta. Barbara, Iloilo & P.S. 3A, San Jose, San Miguel, Iloilo
Brief Description : Supply and delivery of 30 cylinders filled liquid chlorine (1 ton cap/cyl),
120 cylinders filled liquid chorine (68 kg cap/cyl) & 228 drums sodium hypochlorite
Approved Budget
For the Contract : P 2,868,000.00
Delivery Period : 6 Staggered Deliveries:
1st Delivery - 5 1-ton cyl, 20 68-kg cyl & 38 drums of SH within 30 days upon receipt of NTP
2nd Delivery - 5 1-ton cyl, 20 68-kg cyl & 38 drums of SH within 60 days upon receipt of NTP
3rd Delivery - 5 1-ton cyl, 20 68-kg cyl & 38 drums of SH within 90 days upon receipt of NTP
4th Delivery - 5 1-ton cyl, 20 68-kg cyl & 38 drums of SH within 120 days upon receipt of NTP
5th Delivery - 5 1-ton cyl, 20 68-kg cyl & 38 drums of SH within 150 days upon receipt of NTP
6th Delivery - 5 1-ton cyl, 20 68-kg cyl & 38 drums of SH within 180 days upon receipt of NTP

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two years with an amount of 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bids shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bid Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations A (IRR-A).

Bid Documents will be available to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (P1,500.00) to the Metro Iloilo Water District's Cashier.

The MIWD assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.
