VI.4.2) Lodging of appeals: Precise information on deadline(s) for
lodging appeals: The contracting authority, will incorporate a minimum
10-day standstill period at this point information on the award of the
contract is communicated to tenderers. The period allows unsuccesful
tenderers to seek a further debriefing from the contracting authority
before the contract is entered into. If an appeal regarding the award of
contract cannot be resolved, the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as
amended) provide for aggrieved parties to take action in the High Court
(England,Wales and Nortern Ireland). Any such action must be brought
promptly (generally within 3 months). Where a contract has not been
entered into the court may order the setting aside of the award decision
or order the contracting authority to amend certain documents. If the
contract has been entered onto the court may only award damages.
