S. M. Stoller Corporation, Legacy Management Support Contractor to the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management, will issue a solicitation for removal and disposal of soils contaminated with volatile organic compounds on or about July 14, 2008. Soils will be hauled off-site from the Largo, Florida area, to RCRA licensed disposal facilities. Preferred method of soil removal will be using the Large Diameter Auger method. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposal requiring the submission of a technical and a price proposal. A mandatory site inspection and briefing is tentatively scheduled for July 22, 2008 @ 8:00 am EST. The actual date & time will be provided in the solicitation. The solicitation package will be posted to the Stoller web site at http://www.stoller.com/stoller2/solicitations.php. Send an email to contracts@lm.doe.gov to request notification when the solicitation is posted. Total estimated cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the size standard is $31 million in gross annual receipts. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by Stoller. Pursuant to the Miller Act, Performance and Payment Bonds will be required following award.
