Construction of four (4) Floodwater Retarding Structures in Carroll County, Missouri. Work consists of approximately 17.9 AC of clearing and grubbing; 20,710 CY of excavation; 154 LF of 6-inch diameter welded steel pipe; 330 LF of 8-inch diameter welded steel pipe; 129 LF of 12-inch diameter welded steel pipe; 106,180 CY of earthfill; 7,421 LF of heavy duty barbed wire fence; 18.7 AC of seeding and mulching; 10 TN of temporary mulch cover; 4 EA stock watering system; 55 CY of drainfill; 60 TN of rock riprap for minor work. Solicitation will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 15, 2008. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Estimated price range: Between $250,000 and $500,000. Planholders are required to assure if any amendments to this solicitation have been issued prior to submitting a bid.
