Construction of Repair for one (1) Floodwater Retarding Structure in Putnam County, Missouri. Work consists of approximately 1.0 AC of clearing and grubbing; 6,000 CY of excavation; 200 LF of remove and reinstall 16 inch diameter welded steel pipe; 6,000 CY of earthfill; 869 LF of remove and reinstall heavy duty barbed wire fence; 5.6 AC of seeding and mulching; 500 LF of silt fence; 24 CY of drainfill; 30 TN of rock riprap (D50=9�). Solicitation will be available at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 15, 2008. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. Requests for hardcopy must be in writing to bryan.thomas@mo.usda.gov or Amy.Howerton@mo.usda.gov or by fax to 573-876-0914. Anticipated award date will be September 10, 2008. Estimated price range: $25,000 to $100,000. Planholders are required to assure if any amendments to the solicitation have been issued prior to submitting a bid/quote.
