Studio Desk Retrofit - Millwork

The Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design is issuing this RFP for proposals encompassing the removal of existing studio desks which are to be retrofitted according to specifications and drawings from the Faculty and then returned to the Faculty once the retrofit is completed. The Faculty requires the desks for its Fall 2008 teaching program and the Proponent, must therefore be capable not only to remove, retrofit and deliver the studio desks, but must be able to deliver a minimum of 45 of these desks by the latest of August 22, 2008 and the remainder by August 29, 2008.
The Faculty is open to considering proposals that maximize the delivery of desks by August 29 and batch deliver remaining desks in groups of twenty over the course of the Fall term. For this to be workable, the contractor would have to remove unrefurbished desks 20 at a time and then return them after refurbishment prior to removing the next twenty. This would allow the Faculty to maintain a sufficient supply of desks for teaching puposes throughout the refurbishment process.
