Establishment of a framework agreement for the provision of 24-hour
enhanced social care placements for individuals with mental health needs
in Cardiff.

Health Board seeks to establish a framework agreement for the provision of
accommodation with 24-hour flexible support including for Cardiff
residents aged between 18 to 70 with severe and enduring mental health
needs.

II.2) QUANTITY OR SCOPE OF THE CONTRACT
II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The LHB is unable to quantify likely
numbers of placements required at this point. However, it is the LHB's
intention to utilise a framework agreement to place individuals whose
needs are appropriate.
II.2.2) Options: Yes.
Description of these options: There is a common service specification
although the LHB has identified 2 distinct client groups with similar yet
distinct needs. These will be clearly identified in documentation that
will be made available to organisation as part of the Pre-Qualification
Process.
II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in
months: 36 (from the award of the contract).

the tender submissions, formal interviews and presentations will be held
for successful candidates, following which a list of preferred providers
will be drawn up.
