Aspen Fence Description: The government intends to award a contract for the construction of field fencing for the Kaibab National Forest. This project consists of the construction of eleven (11) field fences, to function as enclosures that will prevent elk and other big game from damaging existing and future aspen regenerations scattered on four different locations throughout the Kaibab National Forest. The various locations include Coleman Knoll, Flag Tank, Aspen Hill, and the Spring Valley area. All work must be performed in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provision of this contract, to include furnishing transportation, labor, equipment, supervisor, construction operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the project. This project is set-aside 100% for Hub-Zone small business concerns IAW FAR 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program under NAICS code 238990. The magnitude for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation shall be posted on or about 11 July 08. With quotes due on or about August 11, 2008
