INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The City Government of Marikina, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites contractors registered with and classified by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) to apply for eligibility and if found eligible, to bid for the hereunder project:

Prospective Bidders should possess a valid PCAB License applicable to the to contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have key personnel and equipment (listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for the prosecution of the contract. The ABC will use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria in the Eligibility Check / Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of the Bids. The BAC will conduct post qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

Complete sets of Eligibility Requirements and bid Documents may be obtained at the (BAC Secretariat) Procurement Section of the General Services Office (GSO), Ground Floor, Marikina Cityhall, this city, c/o Engr. Ma. Salome Aquino (Tel. Nos. 646-16-26, 646-03-06, & 646-23-60 (loc. 224) upon payment of non-refundable fee of P5,000 (City Ord. 88 series of 2003). Duly accomplished Eligibility Forms shall be submitted in sealed envelope addressed to the BAC Chairman, c/o BAC Secretariat.

2. Issuance of Eligibility Requirement July 4 to 10, 2008
3. Receipt of Eligibility Forms July 11 to 16, 2008
4. Notice of Results of Eligibility Check July 21, 2008
5. Issuance of Bid Documents July 22 to 23, 2008
6. Pre-bid Conference @ Shoe Hall, Marikina City Hall July 25, 2008 (Friday) 2PM
7. Opening of Bids in Sealed Envelop @ Shoe Hall, Marikina City Hall August 8, 2008 (Friday) 2PM
The BAC assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bid & reserves the right to accept or reject all bids or part thereof, to waive formality therein or to accept such bids or to award any work that is considered most advantageous to the City Government of Marikina.
