INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

Cavite State University, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites eligible contractors to bid for the hereunder project

Approved Budget
for the Contract : P 1.5 Million

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last five (5) years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding, and have key personnel and equipment (owned, leased or under purchased) available for the prosecution of the project. The list of minimum equipment requirement is indicated in the Eligibility Forms. The Eligibility Check/ Screening as well as Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R.A. 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

The schedule of activities is listed, as follows:

1. Submission of LOI / Issuance of Eligibility Form June 27, 2008
2. Receipt of Eligibility Documents July 3, 2008
3. Issuance of Bidding Documents July 7, 2008
4. Pre-bid Conference July 9, 2008
5. Receipt and Opening of Bids July 21, 2008

The BAC will issue to prospective bidders Eligibility Forms at the Office of the Chairman, upon their submission of LOI, and upon payment of a non-refundable amount of P200.00 to the University cashier. Submission and results of eligibility shall be in the same office.

The BAC will issue Bidding Documents only to bidders declared by the BAC to be eligible for bidding upon payment of non-refundable amount of P1,000.00 to the University Cashier.

The Cavite State University assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of the bid.

Approved budget: PHP 1,500,000.00
