This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12) to procure 2 EA Find-IR-Scope UV viewer hand held or Tripod mountable UV viewer with 180-1550NM sensitivity. by the HQ USAINSCOM, Directorate of Contracting, ATTN: IAPC-DOC, 8825 Beulah Street, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060-5246. The Govt intends to award a sole source contract (FAR Part 13.5) for the above products and services to FJW Optical Systems Inc. Note: This firm is the sole developer as well as sole manufacturer/distributor of this Mini Crmescope. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. All responses received within 7 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
