FBO NOTICE - HINES VA Ambulance ALS/BLS (15 min. response) Services The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting proposals to provide ambulance ALS/BLS (15 minute response) services for beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) at Edward Hines VA Hospital, 5000 S. 5th Avenue, Hines, Illinois, for a one year period, with two one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the government. Contractor must respond to requests for ALS/BLS ambulance services and arrive at the scene within fifteen (15) minutes after receiving the request, in accordance with all specifications, work statement, and terms and conditions contained within the solicitation/resultant contract. Ambulance Services shall be available seven (7) days a week, 24 hours a day. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited to provide their quote. Offers shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services, and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is unrestricted for Full and Open Competition. NAICS code: 621910, size standard: $6.5 million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
