This project includes all work required to restore the Swan Valley Barn in Swan Valley, Idaho. The work includes historic preservation work of the Swan Valley Barn including, but not limited to: Lead abatement and disposal for all painted wood surfaces, repair of wood doors and windows, replacement of window glazing, repainting of all wood surfaces, demolition and replacement of the existing wood shingle roof and installation of new roof sheathing, underlayment materials, sheet metal trim, and installation of stained wood shingles, soil contamination cleanup, and regrading of the site. Lump Sum Quantities associated with these Line Items are identified in the Schedule of Items. PROJECT LOCATION: The project is located in the Palisades Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Bonneville County, ID. The project may be accessed from State Highway 26. The structure is located at approximately 241 Ranger Station Road, Swan Valley, Idaho, 83449. Swan Valley is located in South-East Idaho, approximately 50 miles east of Idaho Falls, Idaho by car. Contract time is estimated to be 120 calendar days with a start date of approximately August 18, 2008.
