The Bureau of the Public Debt on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) intends to issue a solicitation for Fitness Equipment Maintenance and Repair. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside procurement, the NAICS code is 811490 and the size standard is $6.5 million. This solicitation will result in a contract with a base period of performance from date of award through September 30, 2009, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide monthly maintenance and service for on site fitness equipment at (AFRH). The contractor shall provide service consisting of, but not limited to; inspection, disassembly, adjustment, reassembly, calibration, repairs (as needed), and replacement of any worn or defective parts that my fail before the next scheduled inspection to the government owned fitness equipment at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C. A complete listing of the fitness equipment on site at the Armed Forces Retirement Home will be included in the solicitation�s performance work statement. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list.
