Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee (Region 4), on behalfof the Ceylon Electricity Board, now invites sealed bids from Local suppliers, for the contract mentioned below. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding. Bids should be submitted only on bidding Documents purchased from the CEB.
The fee for a set of bidding documents - SLRs. 1500/= per set.
The fee for an information copy of a set of bidding documents - SLRs.1000/= per set. (Payment must be made in cash or bank draft drawn in favour of the General Manaae CEB).
The Bidding Documents or the information copies of the Bidding Documents, may be purchased by any prospective local suppliers or their accredited agents, on submission of a written request to Project Director, Lighting Sri Lanka Hambantota Project, Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Devananda Mawatha, Piliyandala and upon payment of the fee indicated above, between 09.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs on any working day till 09th July 2008.
The Bidding Documents may be inspected at the Office of the Project Director, Lighting Sri Lanka Hambantota Project, Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Devananda Mawatha, Piliyandala free of charge.
Bids should be deposited in the box provided for this purpose at the office of the Project Director, Lighting Sri Lanka Hambantota Project, Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Devananda Mawatha, Piliyandala, before 10.00 hrs on 10th July 2008. Late Bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened at the Project Director, Lighting Sri Lanka Hambantota Project, Ceylon Electricity Board, Sri Devananda Mawatha, Piliyandala immediately after the closing time of the bidding in the presence of Bidders and their authorised representatives.
