Chairman, Regional Procurement Committee (Region 3) on behalf of Ceylon Electricity Board now invites sealed bids from potential suppliers, for the contract mentioned below. Bidding method shall be international / national competitive Bidding. Bids should be submitted only on Bidding Documents purchased from the CEB.
The fee for a set of bidding documents - SLRs. 2,500/ =» per each set, The fee for an information copy of a set of bidding documents - SLRs. 1,000/ = per each set (Payment must be made in cash or bank draft drawn in favour of the General Manager, CEB.)
The Bidding Documents or the information copies of the Bidding Documents, may be purchased by any prospective bidder or their accredited agents, on submission of a written request to Deputy General Manager (Planning & Development-Region 3), 3rd Floor, Region 3 Head Office, Ceylon Electricity Board, No. 644, Sri Jayawardenapura Road, Etui Kotte upon payment of the fee indicated above, between 09.00 hrs and 15.00 hrs on any working day till 29th July 2008.
Foreign Diplomatic Missions / Trade Commissions may obtain information copies of the Bidding Documents, free of charge on written request. The Bidding Documents may be inspected at the office of the Deputy General Manager (Planning & Development-Region 3), 3rd Floor, Region 3 Head Office, Ceylon Electricity Board, No. 644, Sri Jayawardenapura Road, Etui Kotte free of charge.
Bids should be deposited in the box provided for this purpose at the office of the Deputy General Manager (Planning & Development-Region 3), 3rd Floor, Region 3 Head Office, Ceylon Electricity Board, No. 644, Sri Jayawardenapura Road, Etui Kotte on or before 10.00 hrs on 30th July 2008. Late Bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened at the office of the Deputy General Manager (Planning & Development-Region 3), 3rd Floor, Region 3 Head Office, Ceylon Electricity Board, No. 644, Sri Jayawardenapura Road, Etui Kotte immediately after the closing time of the bidding, in the presence of Bidders and their authorised representatives.
