The City of Kitchener is requesting Expressions of Interest from qualified Electrical / Mechanical Engineering firms. The City of Kitchener is now in the process of procuring land and an existing building at 131 Goodrich Drive with a view to converting the space to become the City's Consolidated Maintenance Facility. The existing building, in the order of 300,000 square feet, is, for all intents and purposes, a shell, therefore, the need to perform substantial improvements to prepare the facility to meet the needs of the future occupants. The program may include site amenities including, but not limited to: a salt storage facility, a call centre, a greenhouse, a fuel dispensing area, a snow dump area, materials storage areas and a weigh scale area.
