II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): St Georges,
University of London (SGUL) wish to hire a Contractor to deliver Cleaning
and Waste Management Services for its buildings in Tooting, South West
London. The estate includes laboratories, offices, sports centre and
accommodation units.
SGUL requires the Contractor to provide the following services.
General Cleaning,
Window Cleaning,
Consumables and Supplies,
Waste Management,
Recycling.
SGUL is a leading University with approximately 59 000 square meters of
property, 4 000 students and 1 300 employees.
SGUL have a preference for a single contract with a prime supplier.
Duration of the contract to be 2 years plus and option to extend by 1
year.
Contractors must be aware that SGUL share the site with St Georges
Healthcare NHS Trust and as such this contract must be open for Trust ad
hoc requirements.

system to enhance the ability to monitor operations, measure performance,
benchmark to industry and continuously drive improvement.
Supplier should be able to streamline administrative processes for
contract and performance management, reporting and invoice processing.
