Note: Insurance of 2x210 MW Parichha Thermal Extension Project against risk of Fire & Flood damages. The Project Cost is Rs.1603.67 Cr. which includes Roads, Culverts, Building, Power House Civil Works, C.W & B.C.W System, Railway Siding, Plant & Machinery, including Turbine, Boiler, Generator, Transformer, Lightings, Inter Communication including P&T Telephones, Work Shop & Laboratory etc.

The Tenderers are advised to read the following instruction before filling the Tender and follow them strictly.
1. Tenders are invited from various reputed/registered insurance companies to cover risk of fire and flood damages of the assets of 2x210 MW Parichha Thermal Extension Project Parichha, Jhansi (U.P.).
2. Before submitting the tender, the bidders are requested to make themselves fully conversant with site, fire extinguishers appliances & fire fighting schemes etc of Parichha Thermal Extn. Project, Parichha Jhansi, so that there may not be any ambiguity in offering various discounts. Block wise schedule attached, (Annexure B) is
to be filled by tenderer for each items block wise as mentioned in Annexure”A”.
4. Tender must be submitted in Two parts i.e. Part-I and Part-II detailed below. Part-II shall be opened only if Part-I contain earnest money of Rs.80,000.00
Tender Bid Part - I : Tender bid Part-I shall contain the following documents in sealed cover super cribbed tender bid Part-I against Tender Notice No. 04/OGD/PTEP/2008-09 to be opened on 22.07.08 at 16:00 hrs in the office of EE, OGD-II, 2x210 MW.
1. Earnest Money : Earnest money in the shape of FDR/CDR/Bank Draft duly pledged in favour of the Dy. CAO, PTPP, Parichha Jhansi for an amount of Rs.80,000.00
2. Pre Qualifying Documents : a. Copy of order/agreements showing credential regarding business profile with reference to insurance cover of various Govt. organization like
UPRVUNL/UPCL/NTPC/ETC & claim settled.
b. Commercial Terms & Conditions.
c. Service Tax registration certificate if applicable.
The offer of only those firms shall be considered who shall be considered, who shall fulfill the above condition i.e. earnest money and pre qualifying condition at Sl. No.2 Tenders without earnest money will not be considered, and Part-II shall not be opened.
