INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)

Renovation Works at 5th Floor Post Office Building

This amendment to Invitation for Bids updates that published in the Informative dated 3-9 June 2008, Public Eye dated 13th June 2008 (Published in Maseru, Lesotho) and Extension of Dates for Invitation for Bids published in Sunday Times (South Africa) dated 15th June 2008, in addition to postings in dgMarket 27 May and 16 June, and UNDB online 3 June 2008.

Through this amendment point 7 of the Invitation of Bids will read as:

“7. A complete set of Bidding Documents, in English, may be received free of cost in Maseru by interested bidders from the address mentioned below. For bidders who do not have representations in Maseru, the bidding document will be sent by courier at bidders cost of USD 100 upon submission of proof of payment/money transfer or deposit to the bank account: “MCA-Lesotho, Standard Lesotho Bank, Dollar Account Number 0122042667701, Swift Code: SBICLSMX.”

The date of submission and opening are the same as mentioned below:

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 11:00 AM, July 14, 2008. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 2.00 PM, July 14, 2008.

The remaining information stated under extension of date for Invitation for Bids published in all the above-mentioned publications and websites, remain same.
