The Australian Government Attorney-General's Department is seeking tenders for the provision of Port Management and Related Services for the Indian Ocean Territories (IOT) Ports. The Indian Ocean Territories (IOT) Ports consist of the Christmas Island Port and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands Port The Australian Government owns all of the IOT Ports' on-shore assets, fixed and mobile, including plant and equipment. In addition the Australian Government owns a number of off-shore assets and vessels including the existing inter-island ferry, dumb barge and mooring buoys. The Attorney General's Department is accountable to the Minister of Home Affairs for the IOT Ports. The project will involve the Management of the IOT Ports on Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands, the provision of Harbour Master Services, Management and Maintenance of all Port Assets and the Provision of Advice to the Department on all matters relating to the operation of the Ports. |
