SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION

Hamarøy Central School - Alterations and an extension.

Main site or location of works: Oppeid, Hamarøy municipality, Norway.
II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Demolition -
parts of the school.
Hamarøy central school in Hamarøy consists of a social wing and a
classroom wing. One floor, the loft and ceiling of the classroom wing,
which has a ground area of approx. 1 850 m2 shall be demolished.
The turnkey contract comprises of, amongst other things, barracks, removal
of asbestos, PCB and other substances which can be harmful to health and
the environment, handling and delivery of the waste and selective
demolition of the construction down to the concrete cover over the
basement. The contractor will be responsible for securing the cover etc.
as well as being responsible for PRO, UTF and KUT in accordance with the
National Building Codes.

wallboards and floorboards. Selective demolition of a wooden building and
lightweight aggregate walls approx. 1 850 m2 floor area.

months: 2 (from the award of the contract).
