The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for Gaseous Hydrogen TYPE I, (GH2), IAW MIL-PRF-2720D dated 7 Feb 2007, NSN: 9135-00-823-8133. The contract(s) ordering period will be from 18 Aug 2008 through 17 Aug 2010. The product will be delivered FOB Destination into government-owned storage tanks at Edwards AFB, CA., High Pressure off-load (if available) OR Standard Industry Pressure off-load and contractor-leased tube storage at Kent, WA, Standard Industry Pressure off-load. The total estimated contract quantities per year are: Edwards AFB (High Pressure): 9,846 MC OR (Standard Industry Pressure) 220 MC; Kent, WA (Standard Industry Pressure) 150 MC. The resultant contract(s) will be a two year firm fixed-price requirements-type contract(s). Offerors are required to have the capability to support bulk shipments. The Request for Proposal may result in multiple awards. Offerors may propose a stand alone price for each of the product CLINs. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 24 Jun 2008 and posted to the FedBizOpps web page at www.fedbizopps.gov. If you do not have Internet access, a hard copy of the solicitation may be requested. Only written, emailed, or faxed requests for solicitation received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
