Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has received loans from the European
Investment Bank (EIB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
(EBRD) and World Bank (WB) towards the cost of the Road Rehabilitation
Project in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Project) and intends to
apply a part of the loans proceeds to make payments for. (a) road
rehabilitation and/or improvement works and (b) consulting services
procured under the Project. The total value of the works and consultancy
services to be procured under the EIB, EBRD and WB loans is up to Euro 100
million. The implementation agency for the Project is Javno preduzece
"Direkcija cesta F BiH" (JP DCFBH).
This Procurement Notice relates to four contracts for the road
rehabilitation and one contract for the bridge reconstruction of the
following five LOTs:
Lot 1 M-5 Reconstruction Bihac Bridge over Una River chainage 13+344 km
Lot 2 M-5 Vrtoce - Vrtoce km 53+550 – km 58+550
M-5 Bihac – Bihac km 12+570 – km 13+030
Lot 3 M-4.2 Velika Kladuša-Srbljani km 2+900 - km 9+000
M-4.2 Velika Kladuša-Srbljani km 9+000 - km 26+000 (rebidding)
Lot 4 M-5 Buna – Masline km 0+700 – km 9+000
Lot 5 M-17 Nemila 1 – Zenica 3 km 64+000 + km 76+000
These works contracts are expected to be implemented from August 2008 to
October 2008.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding
(ICB) and is open to firms from any country. The criteria to be used in
the tender evaluation is the lowest Bid Price provided by the Bidder who
has been determined to be eligible and qualified in accordance with the
provisions of the Instructions to Bidders.

and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below:

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from June 16, 2008 on
the submission of a written application to the above given address, and
upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 200 BAM or EUR 100 (for each
single Lot).
The method of payment will be as follows:
a) For payment within Bosnia and Herzegovina, in BAM
Payment will be done through UPI banka Sarajevo account no.
1540012000213981 in favour of the JP Direkcija cesta FBH vrsta
prihoda/income code: 722539 indicating «purchase of Bidding Documents for
the «Lot No.__».
b) For payment from abroad:
Payment in a freely convertible currency will be done through intermediary
bank /400 8768 558 00 COMMERZBANK AG F/M, SWIFT code: COBADEFF at the
account of UPI Banka dd. Sarajevo SWIFT code: UPBKBA22 account with
institution EUR/50101200-520054, Beneficiary customer: JP Direkcija cesta
F BH doo.indicating «purchase of Bidding Documents for the «Lot No.__».
The Bidding Documents will be sent by mail. The documents will be sent by
courier for overseas delivery on request of the Bidder and the Bidder will
bear cost of such delivery.
A Bid Security of 20.000 KM (for each Lot) fulfilling the conditions
indicated in the Bidding Documents must accompany all bids.
Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before July 25th, 2008
by 10:00 hours local time. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late
bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders'
representatives who choose to attend.
