This is a combined synopsis and solicitation. The National Gallery of Art (Gallery) solicits interested and qualified licensed firms to submit proposals for entering into an agreement for providing maintenance, repair, inspection and testing for various conveyance systems. Systems include passenger elevators, freight elevators, wheelchair lists, escalators, and moving walkways, (except as expressly set forth in this contract as furnished by the Government) and otherwise perform all task necessary for or incident to, performing in an efficient and effective manner all work set forth in Section C, and elsewhere in the attached Request for Proposal (RFP). Two site visits are scheduled for this solicitation. First Visit: June 26, 2008 at 1:00PM-2:30PM, Second Visit: July 10, 2008 at 1:00PM-2:30PM, The dates, time and additional information regarding the Site Visits are located in Section L of the RFP. Proposal due date is Thursday, July 31, 2008 by 4:00 PM.
