The United States Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) located in Huntsville, Alabama, in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements, intends to modify three existing contracts providing support under the program entitled SETAC07 to increase the programmatic ceiling to $500M. This action is required to provide continued mission support pending the competition and award of a follow-on action. The SETAC 07 program is supported by three multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts that share a common program-level ceiling. The three contracts and awardees are W9113M-08-D-0003 awarded to DMD, L.L.C., P.O. Box 5523, Huntsville, AL 35814; W9113M-08-D-0001 awarded to Radiance Technologies, Inc., 350 Wynn Dr., Huntsville, AL 35805; and, W9113M-08-D-0002 awarded to S3 (Systems Studies and Simulation, Inc.), 615 Discovery Dr., Huntsville, AL 35806. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; the determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A separate sources sought notice will be published to support market research for the recompetition effort. No specifics are available, nor will specifics be discussed at this time regarding the scope, acquisition method or role of small business in the recompetition. A website will be established as soon as information is available to advise industry of the Governments intent.
