The contract is for toilet vault pumping service and cleaning, demolition, and removal of 11 vault toilet buildings from the Tahoe National Forest. Major items include the building removal and demolition of concrete vaults in place or the excavation and removal of the concrete vaults entirely. The Contractor will also be responsible for delivering varying quantities of aggregate base to each site. There are three zones grouping toilets in geographic areas. The solicitation could result in multiple awards based on pricing for each zone, all items in each zone must be priced for the award to be made for that zone. Government estimate is between $25,000 � $100,000.00 The three zones are: Zone 1). I-80 Zone this area includes demolition of (2) two-unit toilet building at Hampshire rocks campground in (Placer County), and (2) four-unit toilet buildings at Indian Springs Campground in (Nevada County). Both Located along the I-80 corridor. Zone 2). Jackson Meadow Zone includes (1) two-unit and (1) four unit demolition at Aspen Group Campground (Sierra County), and (1) two-unit demolition at Silver Tip Campground ( Nevada County) approximately 32 miles north of Truckee, CA. The last zone, Zone 3). Wild Plum Zone includes (4) four-unit toilet building demolitions at Wild Plum Campground (Sierra County) which is approximately 2 miles east of Sierra City, CA. Solicitation will be posted on or about July 3, 2008. Proposals are due by August 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM local time. Period of performance will be the middle of August 2008 through the middle of September 2008 depending on the zone awarded.
