Council and Liverpool PCT are inviting expressions of interest from
established and experienced providers to deliver a range of community
support services. Current support is fragmented across traditional housing
support and day care provision. Our aim is to provide services which
sustain and encourage independence and assist people to stay in control of
their life. The target group for the services will be adults with support
needs who have been assessed as eligible for the service. Broadly speaking
this will focus on the following groups: People with Learning Disabilities
– including people with autism, complex needs, people who challenge.
People with Mental Health issues – including people with enduring mental
health needs, complex needs, people who challenge. People with a dual
diagnosis of Learning Disability and Mental Health. People with an
acquired brain injury. Disabled People with Physical and/or Sensory
Impairments – in particular those with complex needs. Older People – in
particular older people with mental health (dementia) needs Please note
TUPE will apply in this Procurement process.
