Special Notice: W91QF4-08-R-0010; CAC and Ft. Leavenworth Mission Support IDIQ Pre Solicitation Conference

1. NRCC-Leavenworth will be hosting a Pre-Solicitation Conference on 17 July 2008 at Ft. Leavenworth, KS. The purpose of the conference is to establish a dialogue between industry and the government to allow all interested parties to better understand the U.S. Army Combined Arms Centers mission support services requirements and how industry can best meet these requirements.

2. The conference will be held in the Frontier Conference Center, Bldg. 318, at Ft. Leavenworth KS on 17 July 2008. The conference hours will be 09:00am-4:00pm CDT.

Directions: Upon entering the front gate of Fort Leavenworth, proceed north on Grant to the second traffic light, turn left and follow the road all the way around until you see the sign for the FCC, 350 Biddle Blvd. The main entrance is located directly across the street from the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Attendees must enter the main gate in the right hand lane and obtain a visitors pass from the security guards. All persons entering Ft. Leavenworth must have valid government issued identification. Vehicle operators must present a valid U.S. drivers license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance or a rental car agreement. Attendees should plan on arriving at the main gate no later than 08:00am as there may be delays gaining access to Fr. Leavenworth.

3. Due to facility constraints the government must limit attendance to no more than two (2) persons per contractor.

4. Please submit a by name list of attendees to David Westall, Contracting Officer, at david.westall@conus.army.mil no later than 23 June 2008.

5. Lunch is anticipated to be between 12:00 and 1:00. Panini Grill is available on site. See attached PDF for reservation and menu information. Other eating opportunities are available at Ft. Leavenworth.

6. A draft Performance Work Statement and select section from a draft solicitation are available upon request. Please request a copy of this document via e-mail at david.westall@conus.army.mil.

7. Questions concerning the draft PWS or sections in the draft solicitation should be sent in writing to david.westall@conus.army.mil no later than close of business 30 June 2008. Questions and responses will be consolidated and posted to the Army Single Face to Industry on or about 7 July 2008. Please adhere to the above dates so that conference attendees can have an equal opportunity to receive the governments responses to question asked prior to the conference.
