Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is inviting
consulting firms to submit proposals for the provision of
Project Management Support Services for the RCMP National
Headquarters Relocation Project, Ottawa, Ontario.

PWGSC requires external Project Management project office
support services to be provided by an experienced project
management service provider referred herein as the "PMSS PM."
The PMSS PM is required to assist PWGSC to manage the design and
implementation for the RCMP NHQ Relocation Project.

The PMSS PM will deliver services in support of the
responsibilities of the PWGSC Project Officers and the Project
Manager. Together they will function to provide integrated
project management (PM Team) for the program. The PMSS PM will
be required to coordinate all services with the Architectural &
Engineering Team, the Construction Manager and contractors as
required for the program.

The PMSS PM must provide a full range of administrative,
managerial, professional project management and technical
expertise required to deliver a major program. PWGSC is seeking
a firm with the following key capabilities and attributes:

An exemplary track record of managing other complex projects and
programs on time and on budget; and

Previous PM experience in fit-up projects.

The extent of service requirements may vary in accordance with
the needs of PWGSC as the program progresses. The PMSS PM
services will be contracted on a Fixed Time Rate basis. PWGSC
intends to contract a PMSS PM for a two year period with the
possibility of an optional one year extension.

Proponents responding to this Request for proposal are requested
to submit a full and complete proposal. The proposal will cover
not only the qualifications, experience and organization of the
proposed Consultant Team, but also the detailed approach to the
services, and the pricing and terms offered. A combination of
the technical and price of services submissions will constitute
the proposal.

writing and should be received no less than ten (10) calendar
days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to
respond.

Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are
incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the bid and
contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public
Works and Government Services Canada and may be viewed at the
following Website: http://sacc.pwgsc.gc.ca/sacc/index-e.jsp.
Consulting firms that consider themselves qualified to provide
these services may order the request for proposal document from
the Government Electronic Tendering Services through MERX at
http://www.merx.com. The telephone number for MERX is
1-800-964-MERX (6379) all across Canada. Late submissions will
not be considered.

Amendments, when issued, will be available from MERX.

Delivery Date: 31/01/2010

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
