The Armed Forces of the Philippines, through the PAF Bids and Awards Committee (PAFBAC), invites suppliers/manufacturers/distributors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project/s:

Issuance of Bid Documents: June 19-July 11, 2008 at 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, PAF Procurement Center, CJVAB, Pasay City

Prospective bidders should have an experience in undertaking a similar project within the last 5 years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed ABC of the project. The Eligibility Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of Bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria. Post-qualification of the Lowest Calculated Bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-Bidding Conference/s, Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA 9184 and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).
Interested Bidders may obtain further information from the PAF BAC Secretariat at the address given below from Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee in the amount stated above. In addition, representatives are required to present a Certification/Special Power of Attorney from their principal that they are authorized to transact business on behalf of their principal before issuance of the bid documents.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines reserves the right to reject any or all bids, declare a failure of bidding or not award the contract as provided for under Section 41.1 of the IRR-A of RA 9184 without incurring any liability to the affected Bidder or Bidders.
