II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The European
Commission, represented for the purpose of this call for tenders by the
Directorate-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE), wishes
to conclude a framework service contract for the provision of computer and
related services, including the maintenance and development of DG MARE
information systems.
— The current framework contract will expire in November 2008,
— this call for tenders is to draw up a new framework contract for
computer and related services, including ongoing and corrective
maintenance and further development work,
— the main purpose of the contract is to support, maintain and develop the
information systems for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries policy,
— it includes the maintenance of existing information systems which could
be transferred to the Community Fisheries Control Agency (CFCA) during the
period of validity of the framework contract. The contract will run for 12
months and may be renewed up to 3 times, each time for 12 months.

a total of EUR 6 000 000 for the maximum duration of 4 years.

months: 12 (from the award of the contract).
