1. The Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter referred to as
"the Borrower") has received a loan from the European Investment Bank –
EIB (hereinafter referred to as "the Bank") towards the cost of the Power
Distribution Reconstruction Project, and it intends to apply part of the
proceeds of this loan to payments under the contracts for: "MV and LV
cables conductors, ACSR conductors and earthing tape" and "Concrete poles
for the lines up to 20 kV".
2. Elektroprivreda of the Republic of Srpska now invites sealed bids from
interested tenderers for the supply of above stated equipment, as
specified in the attached documents.
LOT A
MV CABLES AND CONDUCTORS FOR THE LINES TO 35 KV,
LV CABLES AND CONDUCTORS FOR THE LINES UP TO 1 KV
AND ACSR CONDUCTORS AND EARTHING TAPE
LOT B
CONCRETE POLES FOR THE LINES UP TO 20 KV
Tenderers may tender for one or any number of lots. Tenders will be
evaluated on a per-lot basis, and contracts will be awarded to the lowest
evaluated responsive tenderer for each lot.
The Tenderer shall quote for all items in a specific lot. Partial tenders
will not be considered and will be rejected as non-responsive.
Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from
the Bank is open to firms from any country.
The criteria to be used in the tender evaluation are:
- Mandatory compliance with technical requirements
- The lowest total tender price.
a) Tender documents may be obtained from the office at the address below,
starting from June 13, 2008 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 300,00
(three hundred) EUR or equivalent in a convertible currency. Payment may
be done by bank transfer to the Volks Bank AD, Banja Luka, RS/BiH; SWIFT
VBBLBA22 on the account EUR 9909011 on the account of ELEKTROPRIVREDA OF
REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA, Trebinje; Account No. BA 395674440000006503, through
LHB INTERNATIONALE HANDELSBANK AG, Frankfurt/Main Germany, Swift LHBIDEFF,
with note: For Elektroprivreda RS, with identification of purpose:
Purchase of Tender Documents No. ERS-P4-01/08-EIB.
b) For payment within Bosnia and Herzegovina, in KM, equivalent to EUR
300,00, by bank transfer to the Volks Bank AD, Banja Luka filijala
Trebinje on the account of ELEKTROPRIVREDA OF REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA, Trebinje
Acc No. 567-443-10000445-42, with note: For Elektroprivreda RS, with
identification of purpose: Purchase of Tender Documents No.
ERS-P4-01/08-EIB.
Upon request, the documents will be promptly dispatched by courier, but no
liability can be accepted for loss or late delivery.
All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of at least 2% (two
per cent) of the total value of the Supplier's proposal in tender currency
or its equivalent in a convertible currency.
A register of potential tenderers who have purchased the tender documents
may be inspected at the address below.
Prospective tenderers may obtain further information from, and inspect and
acquire the tender documents at, the following office:
