Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items the U.S. Army RDECOM - Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order with M Cubed Technologies, 921 Main Street, Monroe, CT 06468-2811. This effort is to provide the Government with armor ceramic components.

M Cubed Technologies has been qualified to meet the requirements to produce armor ceramic components for Natick Soldier Center (NSC) in geometries and quantities specified by Natick Soldier Center. The process used to manufacture these ceramics is unique to M-Cubed. Additionally, the ceramic materials used to manufacture these ceramics are currently being used under an SBIR contract funded by NSC. Ceramics purchased under the contract with M-Cubed are required to be the same as those purchased under the SBIR contract. Therefore the contract will be awarded to M Cubed Technologies.
