PRE SOLICIATION NOTICE: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Health Effects Laboratory Division (HELD), Pathology and Physiology Research Branch (PPRB), Morgantown, WV has a requirement for high resolution sputter coater. The CDC intends to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 13. A high resolution sputter coater that will produce thin, small grain size coatings for high resolution work on a field emission scanning electron microscope. Included should be at least two targets and a thin film thickness monitor. It should also include a rotary tilting stage for better overall coating and adjustments for specimen height. Should also includes a rotary pump and installation and training instructional manual. The complete solicitation document will be available for downloading at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 1, 2008 and quotes will be due on or about July 17, 2008. No verbal or written requests for copies will be accepted.
