Service category: No 8.

II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Occupational
medicine departments have been established at the regional health
companies in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Skien and Tromsø. In addition an
occupational medicine outpatients clinic has been established at the
National Institute of Occupational Health (STAMI).
The occupational medicine departments carry out preventative working
environment work, treatment orientated for individuals (e.g. patient
examinations, expert evaluations, occupational medicine outpatients
clinic), training/teaching, competence development (including specialist
education of occupational medicine workers) and some working environment
research. It is important for the departments that they are seen as
institutions of competence by e.g. the authorities, the health service,
NAV, the municipality's milieu orientated health care, the company health
service, employers, employees/patients and family doctors.
Some of the occupational medicine departments show that there is a
disparity between the occupational medicine challenges and the
departments' capacity, and that they therefore cannot fulfil the tasks
that they are expected to do in this important part of society.
Changes over time in the needs, service offer and organisation call for a
need for an evaluation of the activity and the occupational medicine
departments.
Tenderers are free to design a system for the execution of the project, so
long as the aims and premises are as stated. It must be apparant in the
tender if the project is to be executed in co-operation with several

divided up. See the tender documents for further information.
