SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
Statsbygg 10120 UiO the PO building K401 Elkraft- og teletekniske
arbeider.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Works.
Execution.
Main site or location of works: Moltke Moes vei 30, UiO Blindern, Oslo,
Norway.
II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The building
for pre-clinical odontology (PO) was erected in 1967 as a laboratory
building with 6 floors. The building was constructed as a concrete
construction cast on site with a brick covering on the gables, corrugated
sheet covering on the long facades and teak windows. The facades are
closely related to many of the other buildings in Blindern from the end of
the 1960s.
The aim of the alterations is to upgrade the PO building to a modern
teaching building/general framework building. The bottom 2 floors shall
include include various types of teaching rooms, whilst the 4 upper floors
shall include offices. The alterations will comprise of complete inside
renovation, facade changes, an addition and minor extensions.
The renovation of the low building Pennalet until axis L is also included
in the project.
The building does not satisfy the current requirements as regards inside
climate and fire protection. The alterations will therefore also include a
complete upgrade of the technical installations. New technical rooms will
be situated on the roof and in the basement.
The total gross area is 11 600 m2. 420 m2 of this will be an extension of
the north side on the ground floor.
Contract K401 comprises of all the electrical and tel works with the
exception of the automation installations, and with the security
installations as an option. The electrical part comprises of the complete
delivery of all electrical installations such as guidelines,
distributions, circuit installations and lighting including outdoor
lighting and an UPS. Light control is included in contract K501. The tele
part comprises of all tele installations, fire alarm installations and
sound and picture installations. Security installations (access control
and burglary alarm) are included as an option in this contract. K401 shall
also assemble and connect some equipment and cabling which is delivered by
K501.
