II.1.4) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Primarily for
authorities in the East Midlands region but also available to the Central
Buying Consortium who wish to appoint suitably qualified and experienced
Consultants for the provision of "Tier Two" Consultancy Services for
management of small to medium size projects. Consultancy Services are
required in a number of broad categories: Business analysis,
Environmental, Finance, Highways, Housing, Human Resources, ICT, Internal
Audit, Legal Advice, Marketing & PR, Organisational Strategy, Procurement,
Project & Programme Management, Shared Services, Social Care and
Transport, Economic and Regional and Educational. It is the intention of
the Authorities to enter into Framework Arrangements with a number of
Consultants in each of the Service categories. The Contract shall allow
individual Authorities the option either to call-off against agreed rates,
or carry out a mini-competition to select the most suitable contractor for
any project. The Contract will be for 3 years, with an option to extend
for a further 1 year subject to satisfactory performance of the
Consultants required duties, which will be measured against Key
Performance Indicators (KPI's). General management consultancy services.
