SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
Open competition – Rotating fatigue machine.
II.1.2) Type of contract and location of works, place of delivery or of
performance: Supplies.
Purchase.
Main place of delivery: Oslo, Norway.
II.1.3) The notice involves: A public contract.
II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): This is an open
competition where Oslo University College, the Engineering Department (ED)
will be the contract partner. ED has a need or a rotating fatigue machine.
The competition will be held in accordance with the public procurement
regulations, please refer to these regulations for further details of the
procurement procedure.
Technical specifications:
— Rotations per minute 3 000 - 6 000.
— Bending moment minimum 180Nm.
— The machine must be able to take standard test probes with a diameter of
4- 14 mm (DIN 50113), the length between the taper clamping must be a
minimum of 10 – 100 mm.
— Taper clamping for clamping test probes with different diametres shall
be included in the delivery. The minimum are clamps for diametre Ø8- Ø24
mm.
— The machine and equipment shall be CE certified.
— The machine must be able to be used for teaching purposes in the
Engineering Department, HIO.
This will include practical laboratory trials where the measured results
shall be able to be read by using a connected PC with software which is
included in the delivery.
The results shall be able to be printed out.
— It must be possible to cover the rotating parts so as to avoid personal
injury during use.
— Proposals for laboratory exercises for engineering students shall be
included.
— A digital and written manual shall be available when the machine is
handed over.

— The machine must be able to be equipped with different weights for
adjusting the bending moment (dead weight or lead weights).
