The U.S. Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, (JM&L,LCMC), Picatinny Arsenal, Picatinny, NJ is seeking sources capable of providing a steel storage facility for small arms and ready for issue small arms ammunition. The facility shall be of pre-engineered/pre-fabricated steel. The storage facility is to be constructed in accordance with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Regulation (27CFR Part 55) for Type I and Type II bullet resistant containers. A pre-fabricated steel, wood- lined storage facility shall be constructed on skids/runners, and affixed with lift straps/hooks/eyelets for handling and transportation. The facility shall have a protective exterior coating capable of resisting environmental elements and preventing oxidation/deterioration of the building. Interested firms who believe that they are capable of providing a product that meets or exceeds the capabilities delineated above are invited to indicate their interest by providing a product description, company name, address, point of contact and email address. This announcement does not constitute an invitation for bids or a request for proposal, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of this announcement. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this announcement.
