II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Thenew Housing
Association operates across Glasgow and East and West Dunbartonshire.
Development Services are also porvided to Lochfield Park Housing
Association and Ruchazie Housing Association whose developments may also
be covered by the Framework Agreement. Thenew HA are seeking to set up a
framework agreement of up to 6 Contractors to deliver its development
programme over the next 4 years. During this period the Association
envisages undertaking a variety of housing and office developments with an
overall estimated construction value of between 35 000 000 GBP and 45 000
000 GBP. Further details of the projects are included in the
pre-qualification questionnaire.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in
months: 48 (from the award of the contract).
SECTION III: LEGAL, ECONOMIC, FINANCIAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION
III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT
III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees required: A 10 % contract guarantee bond
may be required. A parent company guarantee may be required.
III.1.2) Main financing conditions and payment arrangements and/or
reference to the relevant provisions regulating them: Payments to be made
by or on behalf of the contracting authority in sterling. Interim payments
to be made on a monthly basis during the course of the individual
contract. Further details will be contained within the tender
documentation issued to contractors invited to tender.
III.1.3) Legal form to be taken by the group of economic operators to
whom the contract is to be awarded: Registered company.
III.1.4) Other particular conditions to which the performance of the
contract is subject: Yes.
Applications will only be considered from companies able to demonstrate;
corporate and financial standing to undertake projects of this size;
relevant experience in providing similar projects of this nature; the
experience and nature of their proposed delivery team; approach to cost
certainty, quality standards, sustainability issues, innovation, health
and safety, defects management and resourcing; experience in working
within similar environments and conditions. Further details are included
