The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes for a parenting program which supports positive relationships between inmates, their spouses and their children during an after incarceration to be provided at the Federal Correctional Institution, at 1299 S. Seaside Ave, San Pedro, CA. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work. This solicitation is anticipated to result in a single award, firm-fixed price contract. The anticipated term of the contract includes a one year base year period and four one year option periods. The base year period will be from date of award through September 30, 2009; option year 1 period shall be from October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010; option year 2 period shall be from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011; option year 3 period shall be from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2012; and option year 4 period shall be from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. The solicitation will be available on or after June 6, 2008, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ . Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date July 31,2008. Anticipated award date will be on or around October 1, 2008. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for solicitation will be accepted
