The Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS, is soliciting for a Non-Personal Services Contractor. The position title is Army Community Services (ACS) Parent to Parent Service Provider. The contractor shall provide family advocacy services to military families identified as high risk or in crisis. The contractor shall make home visits to expectant parents or parents of newborns to assist with coping and decision making. The contractor shall provide educational programs for parents to enhance child management skills. The contractor shall services as the Unit Support Coordinator, and provide the S.A.F.E. Safety Skills Program. The contractor must meet all ACS accreditation standards as outlined by regulation. The work schedule is 32-35 hours per week, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some evening hours may be required. Performance period is from 1 August 2008 through 31 July 2009, with two option years. Request for Quotations W91QF4-08-Q-0030 for this requirement will be issued on or about 16 June 2008. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
