The Contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, supplies, and supervision to remove and replace nineteen (19) meters, converters, transmitters and associated valves/piping in various locations throughout the Washington D.C., Metropolitan Area. The General Services Administration shall furnish the meters, converters and transmitters only. A firm fixed-price type contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation is not set-aside for small businesses, however, this procurement is being made under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Women-Owned businesses are encouraged to submit a bid and so state that they are women-owned. The estimated cost range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The NAIC Code is 221330 and the small business size standard is $12,000,000. The solicitation will be issued on/about June 20, 2008, and the due date will be on/about July 29, 2008.
