INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID

The Tiaong Water District (TWD), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites Contractors to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder projects:

Name of Project : Drilling of one (1) Production Well
Location : Brgy. Lagalag, Tiaong, Quezon
Approved Budget
for the Contract : Php 1,250,000.00
Contract Duration : 3 months

Funds for the above contract shall be provided by Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) in accordance with the Small Town Water Supply Development and Rehabilitation Assistance by LWUA.

Prospective Bidders should possess a valid PCAB license applicable to the contract, have completed a similar contract with a value of at least 50% of the ABC, and have a key personnel and equipment (listed in the Eligibility Forms) available for the execution of the contract. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary "pass/fail" criteria as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR-A) of Republic Act 9184. The BAC will conduct post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid.

The schedule of BAC activities is listed, as follows:
1. Advertisement June 2-9, 2008
2. Issuance of Bid Documents June 17-23, 2008
3. Pre-Bid Conference June 25, 2008
4. Deadline of Submission of Bids July 7, 2008 2:00 PM
5. Opening of Bids July 7, 2008 2:00 PM

Bid Documents will be available only to prospective bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Five Thousand Pesos (Php 5,000) to the Tiaong Water District's Cashier.

The Tiaong Water District (TWD) reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the bidding process and to rejects all bids at any time prior to contract award, without hereby incurring any liability to the affected Bidder/s.
