Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. RDECOM - Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase order on a sole source basis to General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) , of Fairfax, Virginia as a follow on to contract # DAAD16-02-C-0056 to conduct a systems research and analysis for the development of Infantry Warrior Simulation (IWARS) products related to improvement in High Level Architecture (HLA) capabilities and linkage to other combat simulation models, and modeling encumbrance effects on ground soldiers pertaining to auditory detection and effects of load on movement for a period of 9 mos.
