expected to be carried out in 3 separate contracts referred to as phases
2, 3 and 4 although the requirements may vary. Phase 2 will be tendered
May 2008 with an estimated value of 3 000 000 GBP. Phase 3 will be
tendered Spring 2009 with an estimated value of 8 000 000 GBP. Phase 4
will be tendered Spring 2009 with an estimated value of 3 000 000 GBP. The
work involves the co-ordination of and the demolition and site clearance
of existing housing stock and its replacement with new build housing all
in accordance with contract drawings and specifications to be made
available. Those appointed to the framework agreement will be expected to
co-ordinate all related infrastructure works, including roads, drainage
and services. Any addition or variation to the phasing of works may be
awarded under this framework.

VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The selection process was firstly by
registering an expression of interest which was written notification
received by 12:00 30.11.2007 by Hillhead Housing Association 2000.
Pre-qualification questionnaires were issued to interested parties which
were returned to Hillhead Housing Association 2000 by 12:00 on 6.12.2007.
Parties were shortlisted from a qualitative assessment of the
pre-qualification questionnaire. Invitations to tender were issued
mid-December. Contractors will be appointed to the framework being
procured. The contracting authority did not bind themselves to accept the
lowest or any offer. The contracting authority will not be liable for any
costs incurred by those expressing interest in or submitting tenders for
these contracts. The contracts will be subject to Scots law.
