DOL089RP20567 The U.S. Department of Labor�s Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB) seeks the services of contractors to produce research papers on the labor market impacts of trade in services or international experiences in the provision of responsive workforce development systems; under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 541720. ILAB expects to make multiple awards. If no responsive proposals are received from small business concerns, no set-aside awards will be made. The size standard for small businesses under the aforementioned NAICS code is $6.5 million. The contracts are anticipated to be labor-hour contracts, under Firm Fixed-Price. The Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery Contracts are anticipated to encompass a period of performance of one base year plus four additional option years. The solicitation will be available on or after May 27, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s Federal Business Opportunities web site, http://www.fbo.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. The site will provide downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The closing date for the receipt of proposals for this solicitation is June 27, 2008, at 3:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Interested parties desiring an explanation or interpretation of the solicitation, scope of work, etc., must submit any questions via e-mail no later than June 6, 2008.
