Eligibility of Bidders:   Scope of contract: The objectives of the consultancy are:
i) To take stock of Lesotho access and mobility requirements and provide tools for policy makers, task managers, program officers, community planners, NGOs etc. to ensure that appropriate levels of basic access and mobility are provided in the rural and urban context, and to rationalize the criteria for the provision and maintenance of local access roads mainly in rural and peri-urban areas.
ii) To investigate options for the provision of access and mobility through Intermediate Means of Transport by developing appropriate IMT infrastructure and services standards. A pilot study on Intermediate Means of Transport Services will also be carried out to identify potential suppliers of these services.

iii) The study will also develop appropriate infrastructure and services standards that are needed in the different parts of Lesotho depending on the type of terrain.

Duration: Twelve (12) months
